Cristina Fraiz | Loading...Who sais that you don't draw well, uh? *looks menacingly around her* c'mon whoever you are get out of there and admit the truth!!! *sighs* No, really, your art rocks. I'm more than willing to see more *grins*. I envy your colouring skills. Well, allright I envy a lot of other things of your art but I wont admit it nanananana *shakes her head stubbornly* Keep up the good work. Ute Fuerst replies: "Thank you. I'm glad you like the pictures. I'm currently working on a coloured version, including background for the "Elven Dancer" and a facial study in pencil of another character. But it may be two weeks or more until I will upload those. I want them to be completely finished first.I had a look around your gallery too. You do very nice shading. At your age I used to do pencil only as well, until a friend of mine discovered those oil-pencils - the colour is really so intense, I didn't do anything to the scans to enhance it." | |
| 10 Jul 2002 | Marisa Alene 'Sinne' Simmons | Loading...Hallo, Ute! Not only do you and my mother share the same Vorname, but I am also in Germany (Frankfurt am Main hier) It is nice to see a fellow Deutchlander. I love your style! Keep it up=) Ute Fuerst replies: "Hey, Frankfurt is practically around the corner from here! I had a quick peek into your gallery as well. You do have a lovely style yourself. I need to take a closer look later. Can't enjoy a picture just on the run. Thanks for dropping by." | |
| 13 Sep 2002 | Aileen Pettigrew | Loading...Some lovely art here, nice to see such a broad use of media, good stuff! Ute Fuerst replies: "Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. I love to try out new media, but somehow I always turn back to my pencils in the end. But I found that those oil pastels seem to like me a lot too. " | |
| 19 Sep 2002 | Richard "Kittomer" Raidel | Loading...Oh wow, das Kleid ist sehr beeindruckend! Mal daran gedacht das professionell zu machen? Damit könnte man Geld verdienen. ^_~ Ute Fuerst replies: "Thank you very much! It was a lot of work, I'm not sure if people would pay enough money to make a living on it. But I really enjoyed sewing it and I wear it on medieval fairs. I took the time to look at your gallery, you have a lovely style, so anyone who reads this, peek in on his gallery, you won't regret it !" | |
| 19 Nov 2002 | Emily 'Dreamfire' Foreman | Loading...Lovely gallery, I commented on... ah... three of your pics. There, three. I like the way your style is so realistic/impressionist but incorporates the elements of fantasy as well. Ute Fuerst replies: "Thank you. I know the gallery is due an update *sniff* I wished I had more time. " | |
| 10 Jan 2003 | Michael A LaFlamme | Loading...Wow. I'm not sure why I haven't made it to your gallery before this. Really wonderful works here. Great energy and use of color. Lots of emotion. I'll have to check back for updates. I think my favorite piece is "Warrior And Wizard ". Keep up the good work. Ute Fuerst replies: "Thank you, I'll try to do some more regular updates, as my time allows. One of my next projects will be another work in oil, if I ever get around to doing it ." | |
| 12 Jul 2004 | Emmy Kuipers | Loading...Well, you are multi-talented; didn't know about your art gallery until I stumbled across it while searching for your writing shelf. I really love some of your pictures, particularly Umbra, since I know her from your story. *sighs* I wish I could make my characters come to life this way. But I lack even the merest spark of talent when it comes to drawing. Anyway, just a big gasp and wave from me. Ute Fuerst replies: "Oops, thank you! I didn't know you were looking for my gallery - just follow the link of my comment on your story *grin*!And people, if you want to read a good story, with multifaceted characters, emotion and the struggle with change and the temptations of power, go and visit her shelf. But beware, you might long for more updates from her. *grin*" | |
